Madonna Phillip’s work is based on her experience with traditional stained glass. Her work is a combination of her own original technique with collage, glass, and mixed media.

Madonna Phillips is inspired by fine art, fine craft and where that may lead. Part of her inspiration comes from the surge of new glass buildings in New York City as well as themes within Physics and Nature. Her work is best described as contemporary with roots in tradition.

Phillips has participated in many solo shows, group shows and art festivals such as the Cherry Creek Festival (CO), Winter Park Art Festival (FL), the Smithsonian Craft Show (Washington, DC), American Craft Council shows, Milwaukee Lakefront Festival , Kansas City Plaza, Coconut Grove (FL), the St. Louis Art Fair, Boston International Fine Art Show, CONTEXT (Miami), SOFA (Chicago), Art Boca Raton (FL), Art Palm Beach (FL).
