Rebecca (Becky) DePorte is an award-winning photographer specializing in wildlife. Her photographs have been published in USA Today, FotoNostrom, BirdWatching Magazine, Gardener’s Journal, and Backroads active travel catalog.  She received awards from International Photography Awards (2025, 2024, 2023), Bird Photographer of the Year (2025), reFocus Awards’ World Photo Annual (2025), Audubon Photography awards (2024), and the 24th Julia Margaret Cameron Award (2024).

When asked why she decided to get into wildlife photography, Becky said, “I am drawn to animals. I want to watch, photograph, learn about, and protect them.  I use my camera to capture their beauty, behaviors, and vulnerabilities.  Meeting these creatures in the wild is my privilege, teaching me of our inherent interdependence.  I share my photos with others to increase awareness of our relationship to their uncertain futures.”
