Andrew Plaut is a self-taught craftsman based in the lower Hudson Valley. Intrigued by the grain and color of different species of wood, he creates whimsical yet functional pieces, tables that are also sculpture. His pieces showcase the natural beauty of Mother Earth’s materials.

 

Typically focusing on symmetry in his work, Andrew likes to incorporate glass and metal into balance with domestic and exotic hardwoods to create bespoke custom furniture.
